WUS signed several contracts for ACURA

WUS Printed Circuit (Kunshan, China) signed several contracts for ACURA’s fully automatic UV exposure units dedicated to its Outer Layers and Solder Mask (PSR) processes. Thus Altix has confirmed to be one of the key choices for the HDI and multilayers production.

Commenting on this order, Frédéric Baradel, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, said: “WUS has targeted to replace their UV exposure manual equipment and expand their capacity at the lowest cost, and they conclusively chose Altix because they also wanted the best fully automatic UV exposure units in order to get the best alignment, resolution and throughput in order to reach an high-level of imaging for their large-size and thick boards”. M. Baradel continued, “Finally, our current product (ACURA) was able to comply to all WUS’ criteria and hence satisfy them with the best solution on which they were expecting. Altix is proud of having WUS as one of its major customers”.

Regarding WUS, the company was established in 1972 and its applications include add-on cards (peripherals), motherboards, telecom products, and eventually to radio base stations, mobile phones, digital cameras, LCD monitors/TV’s/notebooks, and other digital and entertainment products.  Besides core products like multilayer and mobile phones boards, the Wus moved into advancements such as communication (RF) modules, embedded passives, and high-density microvia (HDI) products.
