Altix gets multiple orders of exposure units Acura which will be dedicated to the solar industry. 
  
Frédéric Baradel, VP of Sales & Marketing, emphasized: “We had numerous contacts in the past with different Solar Companies, large & small, sometimes serving the thin film segment and sometimes the wafer cells based conventional segment. In general this industry is using the screen printing technology and doesn’t need enough resolution to justify a photolithography equipment. But it seems that for some of them, screen printing technology reaches its limits and it is time for them to consider another technology such as Altix is able to provide.
Thus, the Altix sharp UV light process is the alternative to bring a better resolution with an excellent quality of light (collimation & declination angles, uniformity) this matter of fact convinced Solar Industries to select our fully automatic exposure equipment”.

After a successful testing and qualification phase, Altix is currently installing those equipment and ramping up in full production.

This is a significant step in the Solar industry and other future orders are expected from different players.
